It is based on the traditional printed versions of the UNCTAD Handbook of Statistics, but presents its data in a full time series format, covering trade data dating back to 1950 in some cases. Wherever possible, data is presented in an analytical way, through the use of rank ordering, growth rates, shares and other special calculations, so as to facilitate their interpretation. Statistical tables are presented in Beyond 20/20 browser format. The CD-Rom is a vital too for government officials, university research specialists, and others interested in the study of international trade and investment.
