The information contained is adopted from the Workshop on Small Arms and Light Weapons: Legal Aspects of National and International Regulations held in Geneva from 17th to 19th May 2001. Documents and information included in the book cover the following topics: achievements in small arms control, existing regulations and experiences from the field; lessons that can be drawn from other control regimes that have been integrated into the Small Arms and Light Weapons process; the issue of norm setting and implementation and national legislation on these issues.
