The United Nations dedicates itself to the pursuit of peace, justice and development. Introduce your students to the United Nations and its work and to the key issues facing this and future generations with our teaching kits. These three Kits are organized along similar lines for the primary, intermediate and secondary school levels with each focusing on three main categories: conflict prevention, human rights and sustainable development. Teachers will find the background information, resource points and the 'how to' on teaching a specific unit in conjunction with another teacher from the related discipline, most helpful. The units are well laid-out and keep the students totally involved. Additionally, activity suggestions are listed for year-round projects.
