This set of two volumes is intended to give an overview of the health impact of Migratory Movements. Health impact of large Post-Conflict Migratory Movements is a summary of the experiences and expertise resulting from the diverse activities of those involved in the successful implementation of the peace process in Mozambique. The main purpose of this publication is to share experiences to improve capacity to implement the demanding disciplines involved in the activity of peace implementation. Health Impact of Mass Migration is a collection of papers presented by experts focusing on the Russian Federation population movements. The aim is to increase awareness of the medical and social issues involved in the process of migration at the individual and institutional level and to enhance and pursue understanding, support, and information exchange. The main concern is the health impact, relating both to the host community and to the migrants themselves, of uprooting, displacement, reinsertion and re-establishment of individuals and families.
