Diálogo internacional sobre la migración
Las últimas décadas han sido testigos de una expansión de iniciativas intergubernamentales y de otro tipo para desarrollar enfoques conjuntos ante la migración. El Diálogo Internacional sobre Migración (IDM) de la OIM ha desempeñado un papel pionero al reunir a todos los actores de la migración, a nivel global, para mantener debates libres y abiertos sobre las oportunidades y desafíos que presenta la migración. El IDM es el principal foro de la OIM para el diálogo sobre políticas migratorias. Fundado en 2001 y arraigado en la Constitución y la Estrategia de la OIM, el IDM está abierto a los Estados Miembros y Observadores de la OIM, así como a organizaciones internacionales y no gubernamentales, migrantes y socios de los medios de comunicación, el mundo académico o el sector privado. El IDM proporciona un espacio para analizar cuestiones actuales y emergentes en la gobernanza de la migración e intercambiar experiencias, enfoques de políticas y prácticas efectivas. Ces dernières décennies ont vu se multiplier les initiatives intergouvernementales et autres visant à développer des approches communes en matière de migration. Le Dialogue international sur la migration (DIM) de l'OIM a joué un rôle pionnier en réunissant toutes les parties prenantes de la migration, au niveau mondial, pour des discussions libres et ouvertes sur les opportunités et les défis que présente la migration. Le DIM est le principal forum de l’OIM pour le dialogue concernant les politiques migratoires. Fondé en 2001, il offre un espace pour analyser les problèmes actuels et émergents en matière de gouvernance des migrations et pour échanger expériences, approches politiques et pratiques efficaces. Chaque année, le DIM est guidé par un thème primordial choisi par les membres de l'OIM à travers un processus de consultations informelles. Le thème annuel est élaboré lors d'ateliers réunissant des décideurs et des praticiens des politiques migratoires provenant du monde entier.
International Dialogue on Migration
Past decades have witnessed an expansion of inter-governmental and other initiatives to develop joint approaches to migration. IOM's International Dialogue on Migration (IDM) has held a pioneering role in bringing together all migration stakeholders, at a global level, for free and open discussions on the opportunities and challenges which migration presents. The IDM is IOM’s principal forum for migration policy dialogue. Founded in 2001 and rooted in IOM’s Constitution and Strategy, the IDM is open to IOM Member and Observer States, as well as international and non-governmental organizations, migrants, and partners from media, academia or the private sector. The IDM provides a space to analyse current and emerging issues in migration governance and to exchange experiences, policy approaches and effective practices. Every year, the IDM is guided by an overarching theme selected by the IOM membership through a process of informal consultations. The annual theme is elaborated during workshops bringing together migration policymakers and practitioners from around the world. Publications in this series present reports of the sessions and offer readers a compilation of relevant data, evidence, best practices, innovative approaches and recommendations relevant to the implementation of the Global Compact as shared by migration experts, governments and practitioners at those meetings.IOM Migration Research Series
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) conducts and supports research designed to guide and inform migration policy and practice. The Migration Research Division (MRD) based in IOM Headquarters within the Department of International Cooperation and Partnerships has the institutional responsibility for overseeing the conduct and management of applied research on "mainstream" migration sectors and migration policy issues to enhance IOM's programme delivery and to enable IOM to serve as the primary reference point on migration, and for the preparation of IOM's flagship publication the World Migration Report, other reports published in its Migration Research Series, International Migration Journal and Migration Profiles.IOM World Migration Report

La série de Notes de politique d’ONU Femmes offre, sous un format accessible, une synthèse de résultats de recherche, d’analyses et de recommandations sur des domaines clés des politiques relatives à l’égalité des sexes et aux droits des femmes. Elle vise à combler le fossé qui existe entre la recherche et la politique en identifiant les questions qui appellent à une attention urgente et en proposant des mesures susceptibles de les résoudre. Cette série est le fruit d’une collaboration entre la Division de politique d’ONU Femmes et la Section des recherches et données, qui en a assuré la coordination. Afin de garantir la qualité et la pertinence de son contenu, chacune de ces Notes est passée par un processus d’examen interne et par une revue externe assurée des pairs. Progress on the Sustainable Development Goals
This series presents the latest evidence on gender equality across all 17 Goals, highlighting the progress made since 2015, and focusing on the long road ahead to achieve gender equality. Each edition in this series emphasizes the interlinkages among the goals, the pivotal force gender equality plays in driving progress across the SDGs, and women and girls’ central role in leading the way forward. Women have not recovered lost jobs and income, hunger is on the rise, and school closures threaten girls’ educational gains. Women’s participation in government, research, and resource management remains far from equal. Vulnerable groups of women, including migrants, those with disabilities, and those affected by conflict, are frequently left behind.
Report of the Commission on the Status of Women
The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is the principal global intergovernmental body exclusively dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women. The CSW is instrumental in promoting women’s rights, documenting the reality of women’s lives throughout the world, and shaping global standards on gender equality and the empowerment of women. During its annual two-week session, representatives of UN Member States, civil society organizations and UN entities gather at UN headquarters in New York to discuss progress and commit to further action. The outcomes and recommendations of each session are forwarded to the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the Commission’s parent body, for follow-up. This is a collection of the official records of the Report of the Commission on the Status of Women published annually by ECOSOC.
