Country Profiles on Housing and Land Management
The Country Profile reports contain in-depth analysis of housing, urban development and land management sectors while focusing on specific challenges or achievements in these sectors. These include housing provision and affordability; management and maintenance of the housing stock; energy efficiency in housing; disaster risk mitigation; urbanization; housing finance; and the legal and institutional framework. The reports also lay out sets of policy recommendations to help in meeting these challenges.

El Diálogo Internacional sobre Migración (IDM) de la OIM ha desempeñado un papel pionero al reunir a todos los actores de la migración, a nivel global, para mantener debates libres y abiertos sobre las oportunidades y desafíos que presenta la migración. El IDM es el principal foro de la OIM para el diálogo sobre políticas migratorias. Fundado en 2001 y arraigado en la Constitución y la Estrategia de la OIM, el IDM está abierto a los Estados Miembros y Observadores de la OIM, así como a organizaciones internacionales y no gubernamentales, migrantes y socios de los medios de comunicación, el mundo académico o el sector privado. Ces dernières décennies ont vu se multiplier les initiatives intergouvernementales et autres visant à développer des approches communes en matière de migration. Le Dialogue international sur la migration (DIM) de l'OIM a joué un rôle pionnier en réunissant toutes les parties prenantes de la migration, au niveau mondial, pour des discussions libres et ouvertes sur les opportunités et les défis que présente la migration. Le DIM est le principal forum de l’OIM pour le dialogue concernant les politiques migratoires. Fondé en 2001, il offre un espace pour analyser les problèmes actuels et émergents en matière de gouvernance des migrations et pour échanger expériences, approches politiques et pratiques efficaces. Chaque année, le DIM est guidé par un thème primordial choisi par les membres de l'OIM à travers un processus de consultations informelles. Le thème annuel est élaboré lors d'ateliers réunissant des décideurs et des praticiens des politiques migratoires provenant du monde entier.
Global Report on Human Settlements
The Global Report on Human Settlements is a biennial flagship published by UN-Habitat, the United Nations programme working towards a better urban future. With a mission to promote socially and environmentally sustainable human settlements development and the achievement of adequate shelter for all, this series covers topics such as urban mobility, urban planning practices and approaches, financing urban shelters, the challenges of slum areas, climate change, and so much more. Now merged with the State of the World Cities to produce The World Cities Report, the 2013 edition which focuses on sustainable urban mobility is the last of the series.
International Dialogue on Migration
Past decades have witnessed an expansion of inter-governmental and other initiatives to develop joint approaches to migration. IOM's International Dialogue on Migration (IDM) has held a pioneering role in bringing together all migration stakeholders, at a global level, for free and open discussions on the opportunities and challenges which migration presents. The IDM is IOM’s principal forum for migration policy dialogue. Founded in 2001 and rooted in IOM’s Constitution and Strategy, the IDM is open to IOM Member and Observer States, as well as international and non-governmental organizations, migrants, and partners from media, academia or the private sector. The IDM provides a space to analyse current and emerging issues in migration governance and to exchange experiences, policy approaches and effective practices. Every year, the IDM is guided by an overarching theme selected by the IOM membership through a process of informal consultations. The annual theme is elaborated during workshops bringing together migration policymakers and practitioners from around the world. Publications in this series present reports of the sessions and offer readers a compilation of relevant data, evidence, best practices, innovative approaches and recommendations relevant to the implementation of the Global Compact as shared by migration experts, governments and practitioners at those meetings.IOM Migration Research Series
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) conducts and supports research designed to guide and inform migration policy and practice. The Migration Research Division (MRD) based in IOM Headquarters within the Department of International Cooperation and Partnerships has the institutional responsibility for overseeing the conduct and management of applied research on "mainstream" migration sectors and migration policy issues to enhance IOM's programme delivery and to enable IOM to serve as the primary reference point on migration, and for the preparation of IOM's flagship publication the World Migration Report, other reports published in its Migration Research Series, International Migration Journal and Migration Profiles.IOM World Migration Report

Making Cities Resilient Report
This periodical covers cities' and local governments' efforts to protect their cities and make them safer and productive places to live and work. With more that half of the world's population living in urban areas, building resilience to natural hazards has become a pressing challenge that cannot be ignored. Recognition of the inextricable links among disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation and sustainable development reveals the critical challenges that still remain. This periodical covers the various ways in which UNISDR and its global partners tackle these challenges.

As a knowledgeable institution on urban development processes, the series aims to understand of the aspirations of cities and their residents. Now merged with The Global Report on Human Settlements to produce The World Cities Report, the 2012/2013 edition which focuses on the prosperity of cities is the last of the series.
