Diálogo internacional sobre la migración
Las últimas décadas han sido testigos de una expansión de iniciativas intergubernamentales y de otro tipo para desarrollar enfoques conjuntos ante la migración. El Diálogo Internacional sobre Migración (IDM) de la OIM ha desempeñado un papel pionero al reunir a todos los actores de la migración, a nivel global, para mantener debates libres y abiertos sobre las oportunidades y desafíos que presenta la migración. El IDM es el principal foro de la OIM para el diálogo sobre políticas migratorias. Fundado en 2001 y arraigado en la Constitución y la Estrategia de la OIM, el IDM está abierto a los Estados Miembros y Observadores de la OIM, así como a organizaciones internacionales y no gubernamentales, migrantes y socios de los medios de comunicación, el mundo académico o el sector privado. El IDM proporciona un espacio para analizar cuestiones actuales y emergentes en la gobernanza de la migración e intercambiar experiencias, enfoques de políticas y prácticas efectivas. Cada año, la IDM se guía por un tema general seleccionado por los miembros de la OIM a través de un proceso de consultas informales. Ces dernières décennies ont vu se multiplier les initiatives intergouvernementales et autres visant à développer des approches communes en matière de migration. Le Dialogue international sur la migration (DIM) de l'OIM a joué un rôle pionnier en réunissant toutes les parties prenantes de la migration, au niveau mondial, pour des discussions libres et ouvertes sur les opportunités et les défis que présente la migration. Le DIM est le principal forum de l’OIM pour le dialogue concernant les politiques migratoires. Fondé en 2001, il offre un espace pour analyser les problèmes actuels et émergents en matière de gouvernance des migrations et pour échanger expériences, approches politiques et pratiques efficaces. Chaque année, le DIM est guidé par un thème primordial choisi par les membres de l'OIM à travers un processus de consultations informelles. Le thème annuel est élaboré lors d'ateliers réunissant des décideurs et des praticiens des politiques migratoires provenant du monde entier.

The Disability at a Glance series, which started in 2006, serves as a companion for policymakers, statisticians and representatives of organizations of, and for, persons with disabilities in Asia and the Pacific. These publications aim to provide a regional overview of disability policies and practices, as well as relevant country data and information.
Freedom from Fear
This journal aims to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and awareness of the international community's priority issues in the field of justice, crime prevention and human rights. Global Report on Trafficking in Persons
The Global Report on Trafficking in Persons is issued by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and provides a global assessment of the scope of human trafficking and what is being done to fight it, based on data gathered from 155 countries. It offers a global assessment of the scope of human trafficking and what is being done to fight it in the context of the United Nations Protocol against Trafficking in Persons from 2003. It includes: an overview of trafficking patterns; legal steps taken in response; and country-specific information on reported cases of trafficking in persons, victims, and prosecutions.
Handbook for Parliamentarians
Parliaments and parliamentarians have a key role to play in promoting and protecting human rights. This Handbook aims to assist parliamentarians and others in efforts to realize the Convention so that persons with disabilities can achieve the transition from exclusion to equality. It seeks to raise awareness of the Convention and its provisions, promote an appreciation of disability concerns, and assist parliaments in understanding the mechanisms and frameworks needed to translate the Convention into practice. By providing examples and insights, it is hoped that the Handbook will serve as a useful tool for parliamentarians to promote and protect the rights of persons with disabilities all over the world.
Human Rights Fact Sheet
The Human Rights Fact Sheet series is published by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, United Nations Office at Geneva. It deals with selected questions of human rights that are under active consideration or are of particular interest. Human Rights Fact Sheets are intended to assist an ever-wider audience in better understanding basic human rights, what the United Nations is doing to promote and protect them, and the international machinery available to help realize those rights.
International Dialogue on Migration
Past decades have witnessed an expansion of inter-governmental and other initiatives to develop joint approaches to migration. IOM's International Dialogue on Migration (IDM) has held a pioneering role in bringing together all migration stakeholders, at a global level, for free and open discussions on the opportunities and challenges which migration presents. The IDM is IOM’s principal forum for migration policy dialogue. Founded in 2001 and rooted in IOM’s Constitution and Strategy, the IDM is open to IOM Member and Observer States, as well as international and non-governmental organizations, migrants, and partners from media, academia or the private sector. The IDM provides a space to analyse current and emerging issues in migration governance and to exchange experiences, policy approaches and effective practices. Every year, the IDM is guided by an overarching theme selected by the IOM membership through a process of informal consultations. The annual theme is elaborated during workshops bringing together migration policymakers and practitioners from around the world. Publications in this series present reports of the sessions and offer readers a compilation of relevant data, evidence, best practices, innovative approaches and recommendations relevant to the implementation of the Global Compact as shared by migration experts, governments and practitioners at those meetings.IOM Migration Research Series
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) conducts and supports research designed to guide and inform migration policy and practice. The Migration Research Division (MRD) based in IOM Headquarters within the Department of International Cooperation and Partnerships has the institutional responsibility for overseeing the conduct and management of applied research on "mainstream" migration sectors and migration policy issues to enhance IOM's programme delivery and to enable IOM to serve as the primary reference point on migration, and for the preparation of IOM's flagship publication the World Migration Report, other reports published in its Migration Research Series, International Migration Journal and Migration Profiles.IOM World Migration Report
