The Human Rights Fact Sheet series is published by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, United Nations Office at Geneva. It deals with selected questions of human rights that are under active consideration or are of particular interest. Human Rights Fact Sheets are intended to assist an ever-wider audience in better understanding basic human rights, what the United Nations is doing to promote and protect them, and the international machinery available to help realize those rights.

The Industrial Commodity Statistics Yearbook provides statistics on the production of about 600 major industrial commodities. The commodities have been selected on the basis of their importance in world production and trade. The Yearbook provides data on the quantities and values of industrial production for the major industrial commodities. The Yearbook is therefore organized in two volumes: Volume I: Physical Quantity Data and Volume II: Monetary Value Data.

Since the establishment of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) by the UN Security Council in 1994, a substantial volume of judicial records has been produced documenting the trial and appellate processes at the ICTR. Those processes have, over years of judicial activity, produced a new, unique and evolving jurisprudence in the field of international criminal justice. That jurisprudence has inspired a large number of legal professionals and scholars around the world to carry out research on a number of novel issues arising from prosecuting the crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes at an international level. The impact of the ICTR jurisprudence on the quest for the generation of new knowledge has been demonstrated by the global response to the compendious Special Bibliography compiled by the Legal Library.
Millennium Development Goals Report (Chinese)
This annual report presents the most comprehensive global assessment of progress to date, based on data provided by a large number of international organizations within and outside the United Nations system. The aggregate figures in the report provide an overview of regional progress under the eight goals and are a convenient way to track advances over time. The report is coordinated and published by the Statistics Division of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs.

Volumes in this series are published as soon as possible after the closure of each case and contain the documentation that relates to that case in its original language, which is either English or French. These are divided into three parts. Firstly, the document instituting the proceedings and the written pleadings. Secondly, the verbatim record of the oral proceedings. And thirdly, any documents submitted to the Court after the closure of the written proceedings. One or more volumes are issued for each case. Note that volumes that were released up to 31 December 1964 (Sales No. 286) are sold in cloth hardbound form whereas subsequent volumes are paperbound. Most drug trafficking is carried out in secrecy and is divorced from legal commerce. However, not all of the process is clandestine and precursors trafficking often intersects with legitimate commerce or customs controls, e.g. in order to source materials or transport shipments. These cross over points provide an opportunity to stop incidents of trafficking by using regulatory and interdiction tools. Controlling the procurement of the chemicals necessary to manufacture and process drugs is such a tool.
