This publication presents a compilation of the various tests and criteria that enable competent authorities to classify explosive substances and articles. It focuses on the classification procedures, test methods and criteria relating to explosives, self-reacting substances, organic peroxides, liquid desensitized explosives, flammable liquids and oxidizing substances. The recommendations in this Manual of Tests and Criteria supplement the Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods and the Model Regulations annexed thereto. They may also be used in relation to the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals. The CD-ROM contains electronic version of the publication.
