About the product

Coastal environments are of crucial importance to all living organisms because they contain some of the world’s most productive ecosystems. This study focuses on vulnerability of the people living in the coastal areas to population pressure, land cover changes, and natural hazards; and attempts to develop a preliminary index for assessing the relative vulnerability of coastal communities to environmental threats.
