About the product
This report of the Regional Cartographic Conference addresses the common needs, problems and experiences in the field of cartography in Asia and the Pacific. It also provides geographical information, including educational and training aspects, scientific and technological requirements, implementation issues and benefits. In addition, the report provides an assessment of the status of the resolutions adopted at the previous conference; reports on the developments and contributions of cartography and geographical information in support of the implementation of Agenda 21; and also on the progress in the development and implementation of national spatial data infrastructures.
