This multi-lingual listing of competent national authorities is divided into three sections. Part one lists those empowered to issue certificates and authorizations for the import and export of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances; Part two lists those empowered to regulate or enforce national controls over precursors and essential chemicals; and Part three lists those competent national bodies empowered to transmit or execute requests for mutual legal assistance or to receive and respond to requests for information about, and appropriate action in relation to vessels suspected of being involved in illicit traffic by sea.
