About the product
This publication provides an account of the principal macro-economic developments in Europe, North America and the Countries In Transition (CIS). It offers a framework for viewing the reform process in Eastern Europe and Europe as a whole and analyzes the optimal framework for the Western support to economic reform in Eastern countries. The issue contains statistics for a large array of variables and an extensive Statistical Appendix with long time series. The current issue also includes the papers presented to the UN/ECE Spring Seminar in May 2000: From Plan to Market: The Transition Process After 10 years. This is the combined second and third of three issues for the year.
