About the product
The advent of modern Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and the establishment of a global Information Society are leading countries of all shapes and sizes to take a fresh look at their development agendas. Based on an extensive study carried out by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in 2000 – 2002, this report attempts to create an adequate development policy agenda, taking into consideration the challenges that the region confronts on its path into the digital age.
