About the product
The international mine action community learned a lot over the past decade, particularly concerning the efficiency and safety of clearance operations, guidelines for establishing national mine action programmes, building indigenous capacities, implementing landmine impact surveys, and information management. This Handbook builds on these lessons and focuses on the inter-relationships between mine action and social and economic structures in a given country. It is intended to assist mine action centres (MACs) and mine action organisations improve theirsettings and operational performance.
