About the product
A seminar on Financing Global Public Goods was held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, in January 2002. It was organized within the context of the fourth session of the Preparatory Committee for the International Conference on Financing for Development. The event presented an opportunity for informal dialogue and brainstorming on how to rethink current approaches to international development cooperation in the light of today’s realities. This publication presents a compilation of contributions made at the seminar and a summary of the issues that emerged from the debate. It includes papers written by experts on the subject of public goods financing.
