It describes how a fractured global economic landscape has been scarred by the COVID-19 pandemic and then goes on to argue that the session should led to an agreed outcome where Member States "double-down" on the Sustainable Development Goals and their unmet targets related to trade and development to accelerate achievement of the 2030 Agenda.
