About the product
Among the constraints that have inhibited the implementation of sound macroeconomic policies, limited economic reform and deterred the pace of economic growth are those embedded within the structure and functioning of the macroeconomic institutional frameworks. This publication presents the findings of a research project that examined institutional constraints that inhibit the formulation and implementation of macroeconomic policies; institutional frameworks and modalities for coordination. The case studies presented are on Bangladesh, The Lao People's Democratic Republic, The Republic of Korea, Samoa and Thailand.
