The Social Monitor 2003 looks at the most recent trends in income, population, health, education, crime, poverty, and child protection for 27 countries of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). It also includes 6 analytical articles on some of the major issues that have had an impact on the commitment of CEE and the CIS to build a world fit for children.
