About the product
In recognition of the 70th anniversary of the adoption of the first resolution of the General Assembly on the elimination of atomic weapons, the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs launched the UN Poster for Peace Contest. This competition aims to raise awareness of the need for nuclear disarmament, to promote the disarmament efforts of the United Nations, and to inspire citizens across the globe to use their artistic talents to imagine a world free of nuclear weapons. The 2018 Calendar features contest’s 12 winning entries.
