About the product
This edition of the Observatory presents condensed life tables by sex, projected by five-year periods, for 20 countries in Latin America for the period 1980-2020. It also contains an analytical overview of the information presented, brief description of the methodology used and the data sources for each country. The CD-ROM includes the life tables for the period 1950-2050 along with information on estimates and projections of total, urban, rural and economically active population.
Esta edición presenta tablas de mortalidad por sexo, estimadas y proyectadas por periodos de cinco anos para 20 países de Latinoamérica entre 1980 y 2020. La edición también contiene un análisis general de la información presentada, una descripción de la metodología y una relación por país de las fuentes de datos utilizadas. El CD-ROM incluye tablas de mortalidad para el periodo 1950-2050 e información sobre las estimaciones y proyecciones de población activa, total, urbana, rural.
