The present Cost Benefit Analysis Model was developed in order to allow states to estimate the real costs involved in ammunition and weapon storage. It allows each storage depot to calculate its full running costs, and how much time it would take to break even in terms of the alternative costs of destruction. The model is in the form of an Excel spreadsheet, which comes on the accompanying CD-ROM.
