The goal of trade facilitation is to make the processes and procedures of international trade as simple and efficient as possible for traders, concerned public authorities and governments. This publication addresses this issue by recommending to Governments and traders the establishment of a “Single Window”, whereby trade-related information and/or documents need only be submitted once at a single entry point to fulfill all import, export, and transit-related regulatory requirements.
