The Africa Environment Outlook (AEO) Case Studies, is a complimentary report to the AEO Report. The report examines the interaction between the environment and human livelihoods, in order to improve human security. Divided into two sections, the first section presents case studies which explain how various types of environmental change impact people making them vulnerable to poverty, food, security and disease. The second section highlights interventions carried out to reduce environmental degradation and human vulnerability, providing lessons and recommendations for future actions.
