About the product
This publication presents the outcomes of the expert group meeting, which discussed the set up of a regional road map towards an information society in Asia and the Pacific. It contains the strategies that were formulated, the benchmarks that were established, and discusses the methods of implementing measures aimed at narrowing the digital divide in Asia. The meeting was coordinated by the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity and the International Telecommunication Union. It took place in August 2003, in Bangkok.
