About the product
The concept of the Information Society is the central focus of this study by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). The study examines topics such as the type of information society that is most suited for Latin America and the Caribbean, the basic characteristics and specific traits for its transition into an information society, and the most appropriate policies to support such a transition.
