About the product
Over the past decade, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) has received requests from a variety of immigration countries to perform DNA testing. The tests are used as a means of proving family relationship when there is an absence of credible proof of identification. This paper shows the role played by the International Organization for Migration. IOM examines the ethical concerns and the legal position with regard to DNA testing and provides a conclusion on the topic. Also included are country reports from Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the USA.
