About the product
The treaty event, Focus 2002: Sustainable Development, was held in conjunction with the World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg. It provided an outstanding opportunity for States to reaffirm their commitment to the international legal framework and, in particular, to treaties relating to sustainable development. This document contains 25 core treaties representative of the major principles of sustainable development, and information indicating their present status.
