About the product

Water demand management is recognized as being increasingly important in the Asia-Pacific region. One strategy towards effective water demand management is to establish and implement appropriate water pricing policies that encourage efficiency and discourage waste. Divided in two sections, section one presents the results and an analysis of a study undertaken in the Asia-Pacific region on pricing policies and structures. Section two, explores the options for mobilizing funding for construction of water supply and sanitation infrastructure and the role private sector investment can play.
