This report provides an overview of the public and private initiatives on water accounting and efficiency worldwide with the aim of raising awareness as well as enhancing sustainable water management. The publication includes three reports developed by the United Nations Environment Programme in the area of water footprint, corporate water accounting and disclosure for resource efficiency.
