Format *
War and its consequences are perhaps the most important issues facing the African continent. Along with reconstruction from war, many countries are also engaged in economic reform. However, there are often inconsistencies between the reconstruction and reform agendas. This publication explores these important issues, focusing on a set of African countries that have undergone deep social trauma. The countries are: Angola, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique and Somalia.
