This fifth edition is a reference work containing lists of signatories and parties of all disarmament treaties of the last half century. It contains data concerning depositaries and entry into force, together with the texts of very recent treaties (since 1995) including the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty, the African Nuclear-Weapon-Free Zone Treaty (Pelindaba Treaty) and the Southeast Asia Nuclear-Weapon-Free Zone Treaty (Bangkok Treaty). It also contains the text of two new protocols of the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons: the amended Protocol II, on anti-personnel land-mines and Protocol IV, on blinding laser weapons.
