About the product
This annual report includes up-to-date statistics on 33 countries of the region. A wealth of data can be found for each country on topics such as: population, manpower, national accounts, agriculture, forestry and fishing, industry, energy production and consumption, transportation and communication, internal and external trade, wages, banking, finance and social statistics. This data is compiled on both national and regional levels. Socio-economic indicators are also included to provide a clear summary of each area of interest. The compiled data is in a format, that allows comparative analysis and quicker and easier access to information.
Este anuario, contiene la más completa y pormenorizada selección de las principales series de estadísticas sobre el desarrollo económico y social estimadas por la CEPAL, a partir de datos oficiales disponibles sobre 25 a 30 países de la región. Es fruto de un esfuerzo sistemático orientado a homogeneizar las cifras producidas por los países y hacerlas internacionalmente comparables. Aporta información económica y social, y la inserción comercial y financiera de la región en la economía internacional.
