About the product
The United Nations Postal Administration (UNPA) is celebrating United Nations Day in 2016 with the issuance of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) stamps and booklets. The United Nations Day marks the anniversary of the entry into force of the Charter of the United Nations in 1945, and 24 October has been celebrated as United Nations Day ever since. The creation of the United Nations brought the peoples and nations of the world together to promote peace, human rights and social and economic development. In this spirit of solidarity, the world leaders adopted the 17 SDGs of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development to succeed the Millennium Development Goals at the historic 2015 UN Summit. The stamps celebrate this momentous event and will please philatelists worldwide. We offer the stamp booklets issued in Geneva in Swiss francs, New York in US dollars and Vienna in euros.
