These requirements also apply to the gas industry. This publication reviews and analyses current and expected FDI trends in the natural gas industry in economies in transition and compares them with the same trends in South Mediterranean countries. It discusses issues related to project financing, investment insurance schemes, risk management, legal framework, taxation and exploitation among other areas.
