About the product

This publication offers in-depth expert views of trade issues and WTO negotiations and is useful for trade negotiators, trade economists and government officials. It presents a set of papers that serve three main purposes. First, it assesses the multilateral trade negotiations during and after the Fifth Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization (WTO) held at Cancun, Mexico, in September 2003. Second, it analyzes experiences of several least developed countries in trade and investment liberalization, including Cambodia and Nepal. Lastly, it puts forward the views of 14 Asia and the Pacific countries on WTO negotiations and the main issues on the Doha Development Agenda.
