Using Performance for Substance Abuse Prevention

This publication provides the guidelines to create a framework of basic principles, requirements, and skills necessary to use performance as an effective tool for drug abuse prevention. The guiding principles come from the practical experiences of youth groups involved with the global youth network against drug abuse -- in particular the groups that attended the meeting on drug abuse prevention held in Mexico in September 2000. The guidelines are to be used in conjunction with other material produced by UN organizations and other organizations across the world.
