About the product
This publication provides information on the status of major multilateral instruments deposited with the Secretary-General of the United Nations (as of 31 December 2003). It covers issues such as human rights, disarmament, commodities, refugees, environment and the Law of the Sea. In recent years there has been an increase in the number of treaties deposited with the Secretary-General. The publication reflects the status of these instruments, as Member States sign, ratify, accede or lodge declarations, reservations or objections.
