This volume is intended to fill the gap, focusing on Japanese FDI in Africa, with a particular purpose of establishing a basis for policy formulation. This publication provides analysis and policy suggestions to Governments of both home and host countries, entrepreneurs and others. It contributes to a better understanding of FDI in Africa, examines the extent to which FDI is central to bringing about structural change and sustained growth. It further outlines policy options for both developed and developing countries.
