About the book

Foreign direct investment flows to the Arab world as a whole remain modest and have not kept pace with the upward global trend. This publication presents an overview of the main issues and challenges facing the Arab world with respect to the regulatory and institutional framework for investment, and takes up selected topics relating to the settlement of disputes and financial governance. In addition, through the contributions by national experts, it presents four country case studies on Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco and Saudi Arabia.
