This handbook is designed mainly for diplomats, commercial attachés, and trade representatives and offers guidance on how to promote and facilitate investment in projects that advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It covers the financing gap to achieve the SDGs by 2030, the role the private sector can play in reaching each Goal, the entities that may be involved in promoting and facilitating SDG investment, and the ways in which diplomats can become practically engaged in this process.
