The first meeting of the High Level Task Force on Valuation and Capitalization of Intellectual Assets was held in November 2002 in Geneva. The round table participants reviewed existing practices and methodologies of valuating intellectual capital and discussed the issue of commercialization of intellectual assets. Various ideas and examples on how to meet the challenges of a knowledge-based economy were also put forward. This report includes some of the articles on intellectual assets that were presented at the meeting.
