About the product
A significant amount of material has been written and published in recent years about the construction industry and its pursuit of sustainable development. Most of this, however, has been written from a national perspective and comparatively little has been published that addresses this topic from a global standpoint. The Confederation of International Contractors’ Associations has sought to present the relevant facts from existing material and look at it on a global scale. Two particular reports were key contributors: Agenda 21 on sustainable construction and International Labour Office Report on Construction. This report looks at the construction industry as a whole and its pursuit of sustainable development.
