This user-friendly compact disc version of the printed Human Rights Bibliography 1980-1990, includes updates through 15 October 1993 and contains over 12,000 bibliographic references. The pre-selection menu lists the 11 major subject categories which can be further divided into sub-categories. Searches can be conducted in English, French and Spanish using the on-line Trilingual Subject Thesaurus. An especially handy feature is 'Wordlist' which makes available for selection terms frequently used in the database. This feature can be set to pop up automatically during search when unauthorized search terms are used.
