About the product
This document is a report of a study on past investment practices in cleaner production in eight developing countries and economies in transition. The main objective of this study was to understand constraints hampering the adoption of preventative approaches in investment activities, and to guide training and other activities to be carried out under the project. Its findings also provide interesting conclusions and recommendations for planning authorities, investment boards, bilateral or multilateral development banks, commercial banks and industry managers for cleaner production strategies and investment financing.
