About the product
In order to build capacity in space law, particularly in developing countries, and to promote the ratification of the five United Nations Treaties on Outer Space, the United Nations, began in 2002, to organize a series of workshops dedicated to space law. The present publication contains all papers submitted to the Office for Outer Space Affairs prior or immediately following the conclusion of the workshop “Disseminating and developing international and national space law: the Latin America and Caribbean perspective” which took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in November 2004.
