This CD-Rom contains a unique compilation of road traffic data on roads in 32 European countries. The census includes a breakdown of the average daily traffic by peak hour traffic, night traffic and holiday traffic as well as by vehicle category. The 2000 Road Traffic Census has been developed in a Geographic Information System (GIS) application. It allows users to have direct access to data and maps in a GIS framework, to analyze, manipulate and forecast future traffic trends at pan-European level. Tables are presented in English and French languages. System requirements: PC 486 or higher with windows. For TABULAR data: Excel 5 or another database editor. For GIS data: Arcview or ArcExplorer (included).
