This handbook is based on a recommendation of the UNECE Meeting of Experts on Best Practice in Business Advisory, Counseling and Information Services, where the delegates agreed that support services that improve the potential for SMEs and trade in services, and effective competition in the international market remains a high priority in the UNECE region. It is useful for all those who help with the promotion of entrepreneurship, trade in services and the development of enterprises to gain further insight into the different concerns as well as successes that have been collected in the UNECE region.
