This publication contains an analysis of institutional and legal frameworks in place to combat trafficking of human beings in the countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA). It is comprised of twelve country reports. Each report evaluates the current situation of trafficking in that country, their legal position including a review of national and international legislation in force, and the actions of their law enforcement bodies. Conclusions and recommendations are also included. The country reports included are those of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
