About the product
This paper presents an overview of social services in Asia and the Pacific. It analyzes the access to social services by the poor and disadvantaged and examines important related issues. The following subjects are discussed in seven chapters: users of social services and users’needs, barriers to access social services, enhancement of the quality and delivery of social services, and fiscal resources and their effective use.
